David Savage brings over 14 years of expertise in improving the technical and cybersecurity posture of a diverse clientele. His extensive experience enables him to proficiently handle the complexities of governance, risk, and compliance. He specializes in utilizing frameworks like NIST CSF, 800-53, and 800-171/CMMC to ensure compliance and effectively mitigate risks. He is adept at providing strategic IT planning, risk assessments, and continuous advisory support. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by government contractors, municipalities, non-profits, and healthcare organizations, he is dedicated to creating compliant networks and systems that uphold operational integrity while reducing cybersecurity risks. He pursued his studies in IT Networking and Programming at New Hampshire Technical Institute and holds certifications such as OffSec Certified Professional (OSCP), AWS Security Specialist (AWS-SS), and AWS Solutions Architect (AWS-SA).

James is a dedicated professional with over thirteen years of experience, including over nine years at Sawdey in a variety of roles. Previous roles at Sawdey include CMMC Program Manager, in which James lead and performed numerous National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-171 self-assessments and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) pre-assessments for clients; Business Systems Specialist, supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and various DLA IT systems in preparing for audits; and Senior Pricing Analyst, responsible for determining the pricing strategy for solicitations and existing contract modifications and supporting numerous contract wins.

As Director of Managed Services Operations, James collaborates strategically with internal and external clients to enhance the value of their IT and cybersecurity. James also leads or supports the following functions within MSD: contracts, pricing, procurement, invoices, vendor management, risk management, advanced client support, business development, and financial planning and analysis. James holds Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) certifications, as well as a Bachelor of Science from Washington & Lee University, with a double-major in Business Administration & Geology.

Matthew Rice is a risk management driven consultant that advises clients how to manage the full scope of their cyber security programs.  He has 20 years of experience supporting federal, private, and international business efforts as a Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO), Information Systems Auditor, Operations Director, and Program Manager.  He effectively conveys the importance of implementing Cyber Security Programs based on frameworks such as Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, Risk Management Framework, ISO 27001, etc.  He develops people-centric information security policies and procedures, System Security Plans (SSPs), Cyber Training Programs, Incident Response Plans, Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs), and audits to ensure clients security and business needs are exceeded.  Matthew has a Master of Information Systems from Walden University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from James Madison University.  He holds the following certifications: CMMC Certified Assessor (CCA) | CMMC Certified Professional (CCP) | Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) | Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) | Project Management Professional (PMP) | Security+

Whitney Brock is a seasoned professional with more than fifteen years of demonstrated success in cultivating diverse and high-performing teams, technical sourcing and recruiting, and technical and systems administration in the DoD and government contracting space. She has a strong dedication to democratic leadership and specializes in team development from inception to operational maturity, adeptly managing the intricacies of policy creation, recruitment, retention, and compliance management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership and Business Management, eight advanced Recruiting and HR certifications from the AIRS Academy and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in IT Management. She has been interviewed for publications such as Inside the Net for ClearedJobs.net and has been a guest speaker and presenter at conferences such as the MSEP DoD Military Spouse Symposium.
